Empower Communities Charitable Trust (ECCT) is a non-profit organization, registered in August 2021, in New Zealand that focuses on community-led development and social empowerment.
ECCT not only delivers projects to Uyghurs residing outside New Zealand but also commits its resources to strengthen the resilient Uyghur community within the country. In this local context, our primary emphasis is on fostering connectivity, inclusivity, and diversity in our community development endeavors. We strive to achieve cultural preservation, promote community engagement and collaboration, support children's development, youth mentoring, and more.
